Maxims And Club Rules

Club Rules

1. Respect and obey your seniors at all times and observe the club rules.

2. Respect the training hall and its contents avoid behavior that could result in damage or injury. Report any damage so that it can be repaired.

3. Always conduct your self in a civilized manner.

4. Spread the good name and merits of
“Wong Shun Leung Wing Chun”.


5. Never freely display your skills for short-lived glory or profit.

6. Never talk ill of styles, schools, instructors or their students while in public personal opinions in such matters are best kept to yourself.

7. Respect and uphold the laws of the land, only use your Gung fu skills when all other methods of persuasion have failed, or to help the innocent from being victimized.

8. Always remain humble and open minded when discussing martial arts with an instructor member of another school, regardless of what system they represent never be too proud to welcome comparison between styles/systems.

Chi Sao Rules Of Engagement

Use controlled techniques to the face, minimize the use of the fist to the face.


When defeated, acknowledge this.

If you wish to turn the heat up in Chi Sau. Then use appropriate safety equipment.

Train to the best of your ability.

Exchange ideas with each other.

Respect the safety of your training partner at all times.

Try to always to encourage less experienced students.

Use your mouth guard or any other safety equipment that you require.
